About Me

I’m a software engineer from Chicago.

Currently I’m a senior engineer at 🧬 Abbott Laboratories, where I work in data privacy, consent management and integrations.

Previously, I managed shopping orchestration micro-services at ✈️ United Airlines, and developed marketing and communications applications, chatbots and web applications at 💻 Accenture.

I graduated with a BS in Biology from 🎓 Loyola University Chicago and an MS in CS from 🎓 Northeastern Illinois University where I did some research into recommendation engines.

In my free time I love to 👨‍🍳 cook, 🏃 run, and shoot photos 📷.

Side Projects

Here are some of the awesome projects I’ve recently completed:

• Local Home Assistant setup using Raspberry Pi 5 to automate all the smart home devices and control them from one unified dashboard.
• OpenAI enabled Wyoming Satellite smart speaker to control Home Assistant
• Home networking improvements - flashing OpenWRT and configuring an IoT VLAN for all of those smart devices
• Film photography, developing and scanning - first few batches on Instagram
